3 months agoGreat bar and diner. I has the beef noodles which were hearty and warmed me right up. Bigger than it looks from the street. Good friendly service and they have big tables for large families.

3 months agoGreat Burger and fries, though there could have been more fries on my plate. Juicy burger, all 3 of us ordered the half pounder, everyone liked them.

4 months agoGood honestyle meal in a town with not a lot to offer. If your hungry and need real stick to your ribs food....this is the place. If you want to taste mama's cooking but she's not around head on down.

10 months agoIf I tell you that it was one of the only places that was available, that's not an exaggeration. It was 7:15. The service was impeccable. The food was above average for the place and the situation. The ambiance was rustic rural. If I'm ever in this area again, it will be an option that I Will consider.

a year agoIt is a neighborhood establishment in a rural village of 3600 fine, everyday folks. You will not find 'fancy people, dignitaries or pop culture icons' here. So, my experience, thoughts and ratings are offered with that in mind. My wife and I were here once before, Saturday evening, both times. They have limited hours/days that they are open. They have the usual menu of a bar/family type establishment. We had the haddock special that they offered. It was perfect. A side salad and home cut fries were the sides. Nice portions served by the bar maid/waitress who was friendly and attentive. She was also taking care of all the other patrons, about 20 people, both couples and families, efficiently with a smile. Prices were fair, and the atmosphere low key, typical of a bar without the blaring juke box. We will definitely return.

a year agoService super attentive considering she was the only waitress. Place was packed. The food was delicious. Large portions. Great prices. Didn't have a long wait for service or food. Large selection on the menu and Great prices on their specials. I had chopped steak, which was so tender plus mashed potatoes. My husband had open roast beef which he said melted in his mouth, mashed potatoes and green beans. Then strawberry cheesecake.

6 years agoVery quiet and friendly place to get a amazing meal. I had the open face roast beef and it was amazing. The food came out nice and hot. My wife had the taco salad and it looked very fresh. They definitely take pride in the food they serve.
